Product details

Today Vietnam pith helmet is still widely worn by both civilians and the military in Vietnam; it is similar to the pre-WWII civilian pith helmets, but covered in jungle green cloth, and with a metal insignia at the front (especially for the Vietnamese military soldiers). The jungle green color was used to help Vietnamese soldiers hide from the enemy during their operations in the tropical jungles throughout the country. This color has been retained and unchanged for almost half a century.
